JANNIE Hope I’m early enough to catch the meerkat — there was a whole colony last time I was at the dam. I like the sentry best — chest out, up on his hind legs, tail all bushy; calling the gang back into the burrow. There’s no head honcho — they all look out for each other.
Hell, I might just adopt a new catch and release fishing policy today.

Why did Thomas do it? Behaving like a seven-year old baby. Ruining the mattress like that. I couldn’t take the twins fishing, not after that...
